Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla called off Gujjar Andolan The Rajasthan Assembly unanimously passed a Bill to give them 5% reservation in government sector jobs and educational institutions. While speaking to media, Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla said, "The agitation concludes today in the interest of the nation. I request that all the blockades across Rajasthan be removed immediately."
Bainsla and his supporters began their sit-in on railway tracks in Malarna Dungar area of Swai Madhopur district on February 8, demanding 5 per cent quota for Gujjar, Raika-Rebari, Gadia Luhar, Banjara and Gadaria communities in jobs and education.
