Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan):  Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla today called off Gujjar Andolan in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur. They were sitting on the railway tracks from last eight days.

Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla called off Gujjar Andolan
The Rajasthan Assembly unanimously passed a Bill to give them 5% reservation in government sector jobs and educational institutions. While speaking to media, Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla said, "The agitation concludes today in the interest of the nation. I request that all the blockades across Rajasthan be removed immediately."

Bainsla and his supporters began their sit-in on railway tracks in Malarna Dungar area of Swai Madhopur district on February 8, demanding 5 per cent quota for Gujjar, Raika-Rebari, Gadia Luhar, Banjara and Gadaria communities in jobs and education.
