Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday said that the Padma Bhushan award for late Manohar Parrikar was "a tribute to the great visionary.
"Delighted that Late Shri Manohar Bhai Parrikar has been conferred upon the Padma Bhushan award (Public Affairs) posthumously. A tribute to the great visionary leader of masses," Sawant tweeted.

Parrikar died on March 17, 2019, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
