New Delhi: Ghaziabad police on Saturday arrested a Nepali national with fake documents trying to get an Indian passport.
The accused Meghraj Sharma is working as Executive Officer in KN Modi Engineering College and had given New Delhi as his birthplace for passport details.
He later changed it to Mirzapur, tipping off the officials.
The police speculate that Shamra wanted to get Indian citizenship by getting the passport.
If anyone else is involved in this scam with Sharma is not yet known and the police are investigating the matter.
