Bangalore: A pistol-wielding gang of thieves robbed a home in Mico Layout of Puttenahalli, Bangalore. The gang numbering three robbers managed to enter the house of a person named Srihari Prasad at Mico Layout in Puttenahalli.
A neighbour realized that the thieves had entered Srihari Prasad's house and immediately called him. As the robbers were loading the stolen loot into their cars, Prasad returned to his home immediately and attempted to retrieve the items from robbers.
Seeing this, one of the gangsters threatened Prasad with a pistol and the rest attacked him with stones. Prasad managed to recover some of the loot from the thieves but was injured in the melee. Hearing the commotion, neighbours came out which made the robbers flee the spot with the remaining loot.
The incident was caught on CCTV and the victim is being treated at a private hospital. A case has been registered at the Puttenahalli Police station.
