Chennai: Former Tamil Nadu chief minister late Jayalalithaa's assets worth Rs 148 crore has been declared. She has movable assets worth Rs 41,63,55,395 and immovable assets worth Rs 7,29,83,190. When she filed the affidavit in RK Nagar election for the 2017 Assembly elections, she had declared assets worth Rs 148 crore.
As per the affidavit, she filed by her along with the nominations for the bypoll, movable property includes jewels, vehicles and non movable properties include land, building etc.
She has deposited nearly Rs 10 crore in various banks but, Rs 2 crore was seized in disproportionate assets case lodged against her. She has invested nearly Rs 27 crores in few companies, affidavit said.
