New Delhi: Former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee remains on ventilator support and his condition has not changed, Army Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi said on Saturday.
Mukherjee, 84, was rushed to hospital on Monday in a critical condition for emergency surgery of a brain clot. Later he also tested positive for COVID-19.
"The condition of Pranab Mukherjee remains unchanged this morning. His vital and clinical parameters remain stable and are being closely monitored by a team of specialists," the hospital said in a statement. It further said the former President is under intensive care.
His daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee said on Saturday that his health condition continues to remain very critical, but it has not worsened. She also dismissed rumours about his condition.
