Forensic expert optimistic of getting new clue in Sushant case

While speaking to ETV Bharat on actor Sushant Singh Rajput case, a senior forensic expert Adarsh Mishra said that a fresh look into the documents might reveal new angles. He believes that many documents which remain hidden may also come out during the course of the investigation.

New Delhi: A day after Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) requested forensic team from AIIMS to examine the autopsy files related to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, forensic experts believe that a fresh look into the documents might reveal new angles.

Taking to ETV Bharat on Saturday, a senior forensic expert Adarsh Mishra said that in many cases state police could not find many facts.

"In many cases, after its interventions, CBI could unearth many new things," said Mishra.

A five-member forensic team from AIIMS headed by Dr Sudhir Gupta is likely to leave for Mumbai on Wednesday. The team has asked for all autopsy documents from the investigative agency.

The team will examine all probable angles into the death of the cine star. Ironically, the exact time of Sushant's death is found missing in the autopsy report.

"The post mortem findings also raised many questions. The mark on Sushant's body and the recovery of cloth also raised doubts over the nature of his death," said Mishra.

He said that the timing of death is also very important. "Nobody knows then the person has died. The timing needs to be correlated with the incident spot and the surroundings," said Mishra.

He believes that the forensic team could definitely unearth many new things. "The are many other parameters like the verification of Sushant's mobile phone, the chat and conversation history, which could unearth New angles," said Mishra.

Recovery of data from mobile phones is also very crucial, and here cyber cell could also play a significant role, said Mishra. He believes that many documents which remain hidden may also come out during the course of the investigation.

While asking for the help of the forensic team from AIIMS to provide an expert medical opinion, the investigative agency said that necessary medical papers, post-mortem reports, viscera reports will be provided to the forensic team at the earliest.

It may be mentioned here that Dr Sudhir Gupta who is also the head of the forensic department in AIIMS had earlier handled many high profile cases of national and international repute for CBI and other investigative agency.

Some of the cases handled by Dr Gupta includes Sunanda Puskar death case, Sheena Bora murder case in Mumbai, Uphaar fire tragedy, Gopinath Munde's death case in road accident, British citizen Denisye Carole Sweeney death case in Goa among others.
