Kanpur: A case of threatening over property has come up in the Swaroop Nagar police station area, where Mahesh Dixit, who was an associate of Vikas Dubey is threatening a family to vacate the house by showing a fake agreement of the house.
Police have registered a forgery case against Mahesh Dixit.
The family of Kamla Devi has claimed that Gangster Vikas Dubey and Mahesh Dixit had prepared a fake agreement of the year 2007, while the person who signed the agreement has been missing since 2005. The victim's family alleges that the signs in the agreement are also fake.
In the agreement, Mahesh Dixit has claimed that 230 square yards of land have been given to him in 2007 in Swaroop Nagar. Vikas Dubey, Mahesh Dixit and his wife have brought the land from Shatrughan Lal in Rs 2 lakh and ten thousand.
He is claiming this land by showing an agreement of 2007, showing an agreement with Shatrughan Lal of Mahesh's wife and Vikas Dubey for two lakh and ten thousand rupees.
Shatrughan Lal had gone missing even before the date of this agreement since then there is no information about him yet.
The victim's family has appealed to the police authorities for justice.
Circle Officer said that an FIR is being registered and an investigation is underway.
