Chittoor(Andhra Pradesh): A father and his two daughters were killed in lightning strikes on Sunday in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district.
The deceased have been identified as Ramakrishna (50) and his daughters Ramadevi(24) and Meena(22).
Sources said that the father and his two daughters were returning home after milking cows at their farm when lightning struck leaving them dead on the spot.
Locals rushed to the incident spot upon learning about the incident. Reportedly, grief-stricken Ramakrishna's wife's health deteriorated and she fell unconscious.
Gangavaram CI Ramakrishnachari said, "There was heavy thunder and lightning in the area. A father and his two daughters were killed. We have launched a probe".
