Raipur (Chattisgarh): In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, former Chief Minister of Chattisgarh Raman Singh lauded the Prime Minister's decision of lockdown and said that India is performing better than countries. He said that the mortality rate in the country is below 3%.
Talking about Chattisgarh, Singh said, "People have full faith in AIIMS hospital here and they are coming from Bilaspur and Bastar for corona testing. Performance of the state is superior as compared to other states and most of the Covid-19 patients do not need ventilators.

Asked about the suggestions to tackle the present situation, the leader added that at least Rs 1000 should be given to the poor migrant workers for their livelihood.
