New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Tamta, who won the 2002 Uttarakhand Assembly polls from Someshwar constituency seat against Hansi Prahari, has assured to help her after ETV Bharat's exclusive interaction with the former Vice-President of the Students' Union of Kumaon University.
Speaking exclusively with ETV Bharat, former Union Minister Pradeep Tamta said that whatever happened with Hansi Prahari is unfortunate and he has spoken with the Hans Foundation to extend their help to her.
Not being able to reach out to the distressed lady himself, Pradeep Tamta has urged the social organisations based in Haridwar to provide her with the possible help.
On being informed that Hansi Prahari along with her degrees has tried to reach out to Uttarakhand Secretariat and the Chief Minister's office many times in the past but failed to receive any government aid so far, Tamta said that he will approach the state government for its assistance to the lady so that she can be brought into the mainstream and is not forced to beg on the streets of Haridwar anymore.
