Thiruvananthapuram: Enforcement officials investigating the financial transactions related to the Bengaluru drugs case have arrived at the residence of Bineesh Kodiyeri in Thiruvananthapuram.
Business institutions linked with Bineesh Kodiyeri are also being inspected.
The ED team is searching for documents related to the illegal acquisition of property and Benami transactions.
It is learned that Bineesh made illegal transactions worth Rs 5 crore. Income tax officials have also reached his residence for investigation. The officials reached earlier, but could not enter the house as the key was not handed over. They are being accompanied by the Karnataka Police and CRPF.
