Mumbai(Maharashtra): A day after two persons, including a Sadhu, were found murdered in Nanded district of Maharashtra, Vishwa Hindu Parishad's National President Vinod Bansal lashed out at Uddhav Thackeray-led government.
Attacking Maharashtra CM on Nanded murder, Bansal added, "Don't make Shiv Sena Sonia Sena. Uddhav- led govt is doing injustice to Balasaheb Thackrey by not paying attention to the safety of Sadhus in the state".
"It's unfortunate and disappointing that sadhus are being killed in the state. Had the Maharashtra government taken strict action in Palghar mob-lynching case, this incident could have been averted", said Bansal.
VHP President added, "It's been over a month since sadhus were lynched in Palghar but their assailants are roaming freely. I urge the state govt to take strict action to make sure that no such attacks happen in future".
"As per my opinion, such cases should be handed over to CBI. If Maharashtra CM fails to do so, he would do injustice to Balashaheb Thackrey", he went on to add saying that this incident is hurtful to the sentiments of the people.
It is to be noted that a sadhu residing in his ashram in Maharashtra's Nanded district, and another local were killed on Sunday morning. However, later in the day cops nabbed the accused along the Telangana border with money and laptop.
