Gupteshwar Pandey got cheated for the second time

This is not the first time. Former DGP already had political ambitions. In 2009 too, he decided to try his luck in politics and resigned from his job. At that time, he wanted to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Buxar in place of Lal Muni Chaubey. But he did not manage to get a ticket. He returned to the police service with surpassing numerous difficulties. He took a plunge in politics once again by taking voluntary retirement from service just before the Bihar assembly elections.

But the BJP leader and the Minister of State in the Central Government opened a front against Pandey and put spanners in his work.

BJP also wanted to avoid confrontation

Sources say the number two leader and union minister in BJP also did not give his consent to Pandey's entry. After the disagreement of the Union Minister, some ministers in the Bihar Core Committee also came out against Pandey. It is also said that after the Sushant Singh episode in the last few days, BJP and Shiv Sena were coming close. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut was in touch with BJP leaders. The Shiv Sena had made it clear that if Pandey contested election from anywhere, the Shiv Sena will field its candidate against him. In such a situation, the BJP also wanted to avoid confrontation.
