Taking it to Twitter, Chaudhary posted a video in which he can be seen taking out a bicycle rally with his supporters. In the video, they can be seen shouting slogans against the Modi and Kejriwal government over the fuel hike. The price of petrol stood at Rs 80.43 per litre whereas the diesel price was Rs 80.53 on Sunday in the national capital.
Talking to ETV Bharat, he said: "The nation is reeling under the corona crisis and at this time. It's disappointing that BJP and AAP government have increased the fuel prices in this hour of crisis. The cost of petrol stands at Rs 80 per litre but both the governments, the central and the state, are making profits on the price hike gaining Rs 31 and Rs 18.50 respectively. The government doesn't care about the welfare of the common people and are busy filling their own pockets."

He added, "Congress has time and again raised questions over the fuel price hike. Protests have forced government on the backfoot."
Chaudhary demanded that the Kejriwal government should withdraw the Value Added Tax (VAT) hike imposed on the fuel prices. He said that he will march towards the Parliament and urge the govt to slash the fuel prices, adding that a letter has been written to all the Congress MLAs to raise this concern.
It may be recalled that the Modi government has been facing an onslaught from the opposition parties over the fuel price hike.
