New Delhi: To bring down pollution level in various parts of the national capital, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi plans to use the anti-pollution gun that would sprinkle water mixed with a chemical to clean the air.
The national capital along with north-west areas of the country has been facing a problem of severe pollution for over a week now and an emergency was declared with schools in the NCR region suspending work for several days.
The anti-pollution gun helps in removing and settling down dust particles within minutes. The machine can shower water sprays up to 100 metres. The civic body is testing it.
According to the officials, these machines would be used across the city after assessing their performance.
