New Delhi: The total number of Coronavirus cases in India have reached the one million mark on Friday, with total active cases at 3,43,036 and recovered cases are 6,36,602, according to covid19india.org
Bihar

AIIMS-Patna, a designated as dedicated COVID-19 hospital, has started human trials of India's COVID-19 candidate, COVAXIN. It is the second medical facility in the city, after the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital, to have been declared a dedicated COVID-19 facility.
According to reports, a team of experts half an ml of COVAXIN to a 30-year-old. The volunteer was kept in observation of two hours.
Indigenously developed Bharat Biotech's COVAXIN and another candidate developed by Ahmedabad-based Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd have both received nods from Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) for human clinical trials.
Delhi
New Delhi recorded 1,652 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday, taking the tally in the city to over 1.18 lakh, while the death toll from the disease mounted to 3,545. This is the sixth consecutive day when fresh cases have been reported in the range of 1,000-2,000.
Rajasthan
In view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the state health department has issued a statement regarding ramping up of COVID-19 tests in the state. The aim is to increase the testing to an average of 25,000 a day. Further, the health minister Dr Sharma has urged recovered patients to donate plasma as plasma therapy has yielded great results in the state.
Uttar Pradesh
The state reported a record 2,061 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, taking the tally to 43,444, while 34 more fatalities pushed the death toll in the state to 1,046.
"A total of 26,675 patients have been treated and discharged, while there are 15,723 active cases in the state, "Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health, Amit Mohan Prasad said.
He said a record 48,086 samples were tested on Wednesday and soon, the number of tests conducted per day would be increased to 50,000.
