24 rafting guides test positive for COVID-19
Twenty-four rafting guides in the Muni-ki-Reti area here have tested positive for COVID-19, an official said on Saturday.
Nine of them tested positive for the disease through the rapid-antigen test and 15 others through the RT-PCR test on Friday, Medical Officer Jagdish Chandra Joshi said.

Thane district logs 781 new COVID-19 cases; 22 more deaths
As many as 781 persons tested positive for coronavirus, while 22 died of the infection in Maharashtra's Thane district, an official said on Saturday.
With the addition of the latest cases and fatalities on Friday, the tally in the district rose to 2,10,877 and the toll reached 5,324, the official said.

Odisha's COVID-19 caseload on Saturday mounted to 2,90,116 after 1,470 persons tested positive, while 12 more fatalities pushed the death toll to
1,320, a health department official said.
Of the fresh infections detected in all the 30 districts, 853 were reported from different quarantine centres, the remaining being local contact cases.

The COVID-19 tally of Andaman and Nicobar Islands rose to 4,317 on Saturday as 12 more people tested positive for the infection, a health official
said.
Seven new patients have travel history, while five infections were detected during contact tracing, he said.
Twenty-two more people have been cured of the disease, the official said.

Telangana posted 1,445 new coronavirus cases taking the tally to 2.38 lakh while six more fatalities pushed the toll to 1,336.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 286, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri 122 and Rangareddy 107, a government bulletin said on Saturday providing data as of 8 PM on October 30.

India tests 10,87,96,064 samples till October 30
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, a total of 10,87,96,064 samples had been tested for COVID-19 up to October 30. Of these, 10,67,976 samples were tested on Friday.
India's COVID-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on August 7,30 lakh on August 23 and 40 lakh on September 5.
It went past 50 lakh on September 16, 60 lakh on September 28,70 lakh on October 11 and crossed 80 lakh on October 29.

With 48,648 fresh COVID-19 infections, India's caseload rose to 81,37,119 on Saturday, while the number of recoveries crossed the 74-lakh mark, pushing the recovery rate to 91.34 per cent, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
The country's COVID-19death toll climbed to 1,21,641 with 551 new fatalities, the data updated at 8 am showed.
There are 5,82,649 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country, which comprise 7.16 per cent of the total caseload, the data stated.

The new infections include 109 from Ranchi district, Dhanbad (35) and East Singhbhum (31), he said.
Jharkhand now has 5,196 active coronavirus cases, while 95,208 people have recovered from the disease so far, the official said.
The state has tested 31,071 samples for COVID-19 during the same period, he added.
