Kanker (Chhattisgarh): As the country is finding ways to fight with this deadly virus, Kanker village, the tribal-dominated area of Chhattisgarh are dealing with this pandemic with "desi jugaad".

The tribals of Kanker district have set an example of awareness. They are not even moving out of the house.

They have made desi masks from the leaves of Sal tree to avoid infection with the coronavirus.

The tribals of Bharritola village in Amabeda area have adopted this method to protect themselves from the coronavirus as masks are not available there.

The people of Kanker village are making themselves aware. They also help other villagers know about the importance of washing hands and social distancing.

Being so careful, those who return from their work are being sent to the hospital a primary checkup.

Outsiders are also not allowed in this village.
