Hyderabad: India's COVID-19 cases tally crossed 31 lakh mark with the single-day spike 61,408 new cases in the last 24 hours on Monday, said Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The COVID-19 tally rises to 31,06,349 including 710771 active cases, 23.38 lakh cured/discharged/migrated and 57,542 deaths.
Even though overall deaths related to Covid-19 are moving closer to 60,000, the case fatality rate (CFR), that dropped below 2% a week ago, now stands at 1.86%, which is among the lowest as compared to other countries.
