COVID-19 India tracker: State-wise report

The total number of active COVID-19 cases reported so far in the country stands at 5,274 including the 410 people who had been cured or discharged and the number of people who died was 149, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Hyderabad: The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in India reached 5,274 on Wednesday, the Union Health Ministry said.

According to the Health Ministry website, as on April 8 at 04:30 pm, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 5,274 with 149 deaths. Maharashtra reported the most number of cases at 1,018, followed by Tamil Nadu that reported 690 cases.
