COVID-19: FSL officer invents sanitiasation box worth Rs 2,500

Dr, Ajay Soni, posted at Bhind forensic laboratory has prepared a box which can sanitise commodities with the help of ultraviolet rays within 10 minutes. A similar kind of sanitisation box was also made by a group of IIT students but this box costs only Rs 2,500.

Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A scientist at Forensic Science Laboratory near here has invented a sanitisation box in which any commodities can be sanitised within 10-minutes.,

Dr, Ajay Soni, posted at Bhind forensic laboratory has prepared a box which can sanitise any commodities with the help of ultraviolet rays within 10 minutes.

While talking to ETV Bharat, Dr Soni said, "Bhind Supreident of Police Nagendra Singh suggested me to prepare such a box using UV- rays."

"As I have used UV-rays in the box, any liquid commodities can also be sanitised without having any fear of damage," said Soni.

The scientist further clarified that it can also sanitise vegetables, mobile, belts etc.

"It works on electricity using a 25 amp adapter. A similar kind of sanitisation box was made by an IIT student but our discovery is much better than them", added Soni.

Also, the box made by IIT student costs more than Rs 10,000 but this box costs only Rs 2,500, informed Soni.

He further maintained that the ultraviolet rays can prove fatal, if not handled with care.
