"I went to Mayapur ISKCON with my friends and saw on TV that a cow urine party was organised. BJP leaders were also advising people and activists to drink it by saying that it it would prevent coronavirus. So, I brought 400 ml of cow urine at Rs 150 and took few sips. Commenting on the same, Jhargram district chief health officer Prakash Mudal said,"Shibu Gorai is undergoing treatment at the hospital and we are taking all possible steps to cure him. His condition is stable now.

Mudal said,"It is important for people to be aware that drinking cow urine will not cure them of coronavirus. He has further appealed to the people to stay alert and take preventive measures".

Denying the allegation that their party activist had fooled people, BJP leaders have said that no one was forced to drink the cow urine. Police cannot arrest our party activist without any concrete reason as it completely undemocratic. The cow urine distribution as a cure for coronavirus had drawn sharp criticism from the ruling TMC and opposition Congress.
