Amid the nationwide lockdown, Punjab police is providing free food to the poor and needy people and those who are not able to find any manual job during the time.

Jalandhar (Punjab): In view of the curfew imposed in Punjab due to coronavirus scare, the police and administration are working for the people and trying to provide every possible assistance to them.

In the northern area of ​​Jalandhar, DCP Naresh Dogra, along with his entire team, provided langar (free food) to the poor people who are not getting work amid the lockdown.

DCP Naresh Dogra said that the police is continuously assisting people who are deprived of work in this situation and have no arrangements for food and drink.

Over 38 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Punjab. One of them died and 1 victim has recovered.
