Odisha witnesses Corona scare above humanity!

In Odisha, locals refused to cremate the dead body due to corona scare and later it was found that the deceased tested negative for the virus. While in another case, health staff refused to take the body to the hospital declaring the person to be dead.

Bhubaneswar (Odisha): In a case of gross negligence in Odisha, a dead body was lying for long hours as the family members, including the villagers, refused to cremate the corpse due to coronavirus fear in Balbhadrapur village on Monday.

Last rites of Ranjan Pradhan were performed by the cops and medical team as seen in the video. However, his deceased's post-mortem report revealed that he was not infected with corona.

Ranjan Pradhan, a working professional from Bengaluru was advised to isolate himself after his health was accessed in Keonjhar district. He was admitted to the hospital after he complained of chest pain and nausea.

A similar scene was witnessed in Khordha district of the state, where a team of medical staff refused to take the body of Shankar Jana who collapsed while riding a trolley.

In the video, an old woman can be seen lying next to the dead body and asking for help. With the help of locals, the ambulance arrived but the medical staff refused to take the patient to the hospital, declaring the person to be dead.
