Congress MLA refuses to give ration to BJP supporter in Rajasthan

A video from Rajasthan has captured the attention of the people as a Congress MLA Rajendra Bidhuri refused to give ration to an old woman for being a BJP loyalist. The annoyed leader can be seen telling to an old woman to go and light diyas at home and leave the ration. BJP has criticised the incident and alleged Congress of mocking at the plight of the poor.

Begun (Rajasthan): In a shocking video that has sparked controversy, Rajasthan Congress MLA Rajendra Bidhuri refused to give ration to an old woman for being a BJP supporter.

The video is doing rounds on social media in which Congress leader can be seen quizzing the beneficiaries who is the greater leader between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

When an elderly woman said that she is a BJP loyalist, the irked Congress leader denied her free ration. Rebuking the woman, he said, "Light Diyas at home and leave the ration behind".

The incident has drawn wide criticism from the opposition party in the state and video has captured the attention of netizens. Criticising the act, BJP has alleged Congress of indulging in discrimination, indifference, and politicisation while distributing ration.
