Cloud and Collaboration Veteran, Velchamy Sankarlingam Joins Zoom as President of Product and Engineering

Velchamy Sankarlingam has been hired by Zoom as president. He will help teams of engineering, product and operations to support the ever-expanding customer base of ZOOM around the world

San Jose: As per a blog post, Video meet app Zoom announced Velchamy Sankarlingam, after spending 9 years at VMare will join the company as the President of Engineering and Product, effective June 12.

Zoom CEO Eric S. Yuan welcomed Velchamy in a tweet. He alos said that Sankarlingam will be President of ZOOM and will oversee the company’s engineering, product, and dev ops teams.
