T-shirts made of plastic bottles

Thakur prepares T-shirts from plastic bottles through his startup and 8 to 10 waste plastic bottles are required to prepare a T-shirt. The special thing is that on the sleeves of all these T-shirts, it is written that it is made from water bottles.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Thakur said that he first studied on recycled polyesters, then made T-shirts from polyesters with the help of Global Recycling Standards.

"The maufacturing of these T-shirts are basically done in Chennai, Erode and Tiruppur. We researched and came to know about this product, then we contacted the manufacturers," said Thakur.

He further said that he has presented this product to Raipur Municipal Corporation and it was highly appreciated.

It is to be noted that these t-shirts are just like any normal T-shirt, which can be prepared in different colors and designs.
