Neemuch(Madhya Pradesh): A 105-year-old woman, believed to be the oldest woman in Madhya Pradesh to beat the novel coronavirus, was discharged from hospital and was applauded by nurses and health workers.
Muri Bai,a resident of Dhakad society, recovered from the coronavirus in eleven days and was given a clean bill of health by medics of district hospital.
As Muri reached her home, people lauded her grit and determination and lined the ward to clap and cheer for her.
Muri was tested positive for COVID-19 on June 18 but was tested negative for the virus on June 29. She was shifted to COVID-19 care facility at the district hospital. Her family members were put into home quarantine after her test results.

According to the team of doctors assisting her, Muri Bai strictly followed all the health protocols and abided by the norms which helped her win the coronavirus battle.
At present, the total active COVID-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh stands at 2,607. A total of 10,199 patients have been cured and discharged and the death toll remains pegged at 564.
