Bengaluru: Twelve years after nine serial blasts rocked Bengaluru killing one person and injuring 20 others, the Central Crime Branch police has arrested one of the accused. The arrested has been identified as Shoab.
He was brought from Kochi in Kerala to Bengaluru at around 6.40 am on Tuesday. CCB police led by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Venugopal had arrested him in Kochi on Monday. He was brought to the Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli today morning in a private airline.

Later, he was taken to Forensic Science Laboratory for further investigation. A red corner notice was issued against the terrorist as he was absconding for the last 12 years. The serial bomb blasts in 2008 killed a woman who was waiting at a bus shelter in Madiwala and injured others.
