New Delhi: Calling upon people to join hands to deal with the problem of smuggling, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai has said that smuggling cases have come down in India.
Addressing the sixth edition of the "MASCRADE 2019" event organised by FICCI CASCADE (Committee Against Smuggling and Counterfeiting Activities Destroying the Economy) here, the minister said huge number of fake products are being produced and it's a cause of worry.
"The union government aims to make the country's economy an economy of five trillion dollar and it would not allow smuggling or cheating concerning any business," he added.
The minister also urged the FICCI to send suggestions to the government on how smuggling could be dealt with more effectively.
