New Delhi: The fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections ended in Bihar on Sunday with a voter turnout of 58.92%. However, Janata Dal (United), an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is yet to release its manifesto.
The opposition also targeted the party's move in delaying its manifesto's release.
According to reports, the JD(U) holds a different stand on Article Article 370, Article 35A, Uniform Civil Code and Ram Temple. Therefore, releasing the manifesto at this hour may hamper the NDA's campaign adversely.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, BJP MP Rakesh Sinha has claimed that the saffron party has aligned with JD(U) to strengthen governance and development of the state. Sinha said that JD(U) will be able to answer on its party's manifesto release.
The Opposition's job is to put up allegations and that is what it usually does. Sinha said that BJP candidate Giriraj Singh will win by 1,50,000 votes, whereas CPI contestant will remain on the third position.
Sinha said that Kanhaiya Kumar has failed to woo the people of Bihar. He claimed that the people of Begusarai are in support of BJP. Sinha also claimed that people from all over India have campaigned for Kanhaiya but have shown no actual results.
