New Delhi: The BJP on Monday claimed that the party will form government in Haryana once again with a huge majority.
Speaking to reporters here, BJP national secretary Tarun Chug said it was certain that the saffron party will win over 75 assembly seats and form the government.
Taking a dig at Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, who is a partner with the BJP in Punjab and also a part of the NDA at the centre and is contesting polls in Haryana in an alliance with the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), the BJP leader said he will be invited as a special guest to the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.
SAD had earlier accused the BJP of backtracking from its commitment of contesting the Haryana Assembly polls jointly.
The problem had started between the two parties, who are partners also in Punjab, last month when Badal took strong exception to the induction of Akali MLA Balkaur Singh from Haryana into the BJP fold.
Following which the SAD entered into an alliance with the INLD for contesting Haryana Assembly elections on three seats.
