New Delhi: In view of the Jharkhand polls, to be held in five phases from November 30, the state BJP leaders have assembled here to finalize candidates and strategy for the 81-seat assembly.
The leaders, including Union Minister Arjun Munda and Chief Minister Raghubar Das, have gathered in the national capital for marathon meetings and hectic discussions on election-related issues.
Issues like who all would be part of the NDA alliance and which political party would get how many seats to contest are likely to be discussed in the meetings that could go on till Friday.
BJP leaders have expressed hope that NDA would perform well in the state assembly polls.
Ramvichar Netam, BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand, said discussion over seat-sharing and other poll-related issues were going on well.
Results for the Jharkhand assembly elections will be declared on December 23.
