New Delhi: Slamming Jharkhand Congress president Rameshwar Oraon over his speech, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar said that government's inefficiency has been exposed in the state and Congress should think about their ethical background of top leadership.
In a video message, Poddar said, "So far, Jharkhand has suffered a lot in the outer-inner circle and Oraon's statement will work to divide the societies in the state. When there was a BJP government in Jharkhand from 2014 to 2019, no one has ever realized that who belongs to Jharkhand and who is not."
"I want to say to Rameshwar Oraon that Jharkhand belongs to everyone. With this feeling, we will move forward only then the state will progress. I wonder that before making such a statement, Oraon did not think what is the ethical background of the Congress top leadership?" he said.
Recently, state Congress president Rameshwar Oraon's statement on Tribal people and other communities of Jharkhand had sparked a controversy. He said that the land of Ranchi has gone into the hands of other communities as Bihari and Marwari have settled here.
He also said that Tribals of the state have become weak and they are being exploited by people of other communities.
