BJP convenes CEC to decide candidates for Jharkhand assembly polls

The meeting of BJP's Central Election Committee was held at Prime Minister's residence in New Delhi to finalise the list of candidates for the forthcoming Jharkhand assembly polls and to discuss the seat-sharing formula with the AJSU Party and LJP.

New Delhi: Ahead of Jharkhand Assembly polls, the meeting of BJP's Central Election Committee was held at Prime Minister's residence in New Delhi to finalise the list of candidates on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by Prime Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, State president Laxman Giluwa and election in-charge Om Mathur among others.

During the meeting, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parties discussed the seat-sharing formula with the AJSU (All Jharkhand Students Union) Party and LJP (Lok Janshakti Party) for the polls.

It is to be noted that the NDA camp- BJP and its ally AJSU party are struggling over the seat-sharing pact. AJSU party is reportedly demanding 15 seats from BJP to contest elections while LJP is demanding six seats.

According to sources, BJP can offer nine seats to AJSU party and LJP one seat and can itself contest at 71 seats.

The 81-member Jharkhand assembly will have five-phased elections beginning November 30. The last phase of the polls will be held on December 20 and the counting of votes will take place on December 23.

Meanwhile, many ministers of BJP lost elections in Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections, therefore the party is treading cautiously in Jharkhand and according to sources, the ticket of the current four ministers can be canceled this time based on their performance.

नयी दिल्ली- झारखंड में विधानसभा चुनाव नजदीक है और उसके मद्देनजर आज दिल्ली में प्रधानमंत्री आवास में बीजेपी की केंद्रीय चुनाव समिति की बैठक हुई, जिसमें पीएम मोदी, अमित शाह सहित चुनाव समिति के अन्य सदस्य भी रहे, बैठक में झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री रघुवर दास, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष लक्ष्मण गिलुवा, और चुनाव प्रभारी ओम माथुर भी मौजूद थे


Body:उम्मीदवारों के नाम तय करने के लिए बैठक हुई, झारखंड में बीजेपी किससे गठबंधन करेगी और कितनी सीटें सहयोगी दलों को देगी बैठक में इसपर भी मंथन हुआ है. बता दें झारखंड में nda में घमासान मचा हुआ है, सीट बंटवारा नहीं हो पा रहा है, आजसू बीजेपी से 15 सीटें मांग रही है, चंदनकीयारी, लोहरदगा मांडू, चक्रधरपुर सीट को लेकर बीजेपी आजसू में पेंच फंसा हुआ है, वहीं लोजपा 6 सीटों की मांग कर रही है

वहीं सूत्रों के अनुसार बीजेपी आजसू को 9 और लोजपा को 1 सीट दे सकती है और खुद 71 सीट पर चुनाव bjp लड़ सकती है


Conclusion:वहीं हरियाणा और महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी के कई मंत्री चुनाव हार गए इसलिए झारखंड में बीजेपी सावधान है और सूत्रों के अनुसार मौजूदा चार मंत्रियों का टिकट इस बार कट सकता है, खराब परफॉर्मेंस और ज्यादा उम्र को आधार बनाकर टिकट मंत्रियों का काटा जा सकता है

वहीं अब केंद्रीय चुनाव समिति की बैठक खत्म हो चुकी है और उम्मीदवारों की पहली सूची जल्द जारी हो सकती
