"People who come out with candles when a group of particular religious community is attacked should raise their voices",Hussain added.
"Matter should be thoroughly investigated. It's a blot on our society,"Hussain said, asking why people who generally raise their voice against such incidents were not protesting against the killings.
In the wake of the incident, an assistant police inspector and a sub-inspector from Palghar were suspended on alleged dereliction of duty. Maharashtra Chief Minsiter Uddhav Thackeray has urged Home Minister Amit Shah to take stern action against those giving communal shade to the incident.
Last week, three men were lynched by a mob in Maharashtra’s Palghar district after allegedly suspecting them to be child-kidnappers and organ harvesters.
The victims were on their way to Surat to attend a funeral when a group of villagers in Gadchinchle stopped their car and attacked them with stones, logs and axes.
