BJP attacks Rahul over his 'PR exercise' comment on PM Modi

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Lekhi said, "The people who work do not need PR stunts. It is for people who do not work."

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) MP Meenakashi Lekhi on Saturday took a dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi at the national capital. Rahul had earlier termed Modi's moves as PR gimmicks.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Lekhi said, "The people who work do not need PR stunts. It is for people who do not work."

Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's work, Lekhi said, "PM Modi works from morning to evening. He is giving the report of his work which Congress is misinterpreting as PR exercise."

Lekhi was attending the book launch of Arun Jaitley's book 'Mann Ki Baat- A Social Revolution on Radio'.
