Mumbai (Maharashtra): The Mumbai police on Tuesday registered a case against an unidentified bike-borne man who allegedly racially abused a woman hailing from Manipur by spitting on her.
The FIR has been filed under Sections 270 and 352 IPC, based on the girl's complaint.
Police are tracing the accused with the help of CCTV footage from Kalina area, where the incident took place. Further investigation is underway.

In a similar incident from Delhi, a man abused a woman hailing from Manipur by spitting on her and calling her 'corona', in an implicit reference to her Mongoloid features and the apparent origin of coronavirus disease being in China.
