New Delhi: Bihar Congress president Madan Mohan Jha along with the in-charge of Bihar Congress Shaktisinh Gohil have met Congress National Executive President Sonia Gandhi to discuss the present condition of Bihar Congress.
Jha said, "I have met Sonia Gandhi at her residence and told her about the current situation of Congress in Bihar. Besides this, I have also told her about the future strategies of Bihar Congress".
On the other hand, Shaktisinh Gohil has resigned from the post of in-charge of the Bihar Congress due to the poor performance of the party during the Lok Sabha Election.
On this issue, Jha claimed, "Gohil will still remain the in-charge of Bihar Congress as his resignation will be rejected".
He further said that if anyone will take the charge of Bihar Congress then he or she will need to take some time to understand everything which may cause a problem.
Apart from this, the duo has met Congress General Secretary Virendra Rathore to discuss how to make the Congress organization in Bihar more strong so that the party will overcome the present situation.
A lots of tussle over the issue that who will be the next CM candidate in the Grand Alliance in Bihar, on which Madan Mohan Jha said that there is still some time in Bihar Assembly Election, when the right time will come all the parties of the Grand Alliance will sit and decide who will be the Chief Minister candidate.
