New Delhi: Newly-appointed Congress in-charge for Bihar Bhakta Charan Das on Sunday appealed to the party leaders not to include any person with criminal records in the party.
In a video message, Das said that any person who has done scams in public related work, such people should not be included in Congress.
"If someone wants to join Congress, then we will find out about his image and then include him in Congress," Das said.
"Whoever has committed atrocities against the poor, Dalits, backward classes, the weak and women, they will not be included in the Congress under any circumstances. And I hope Bihar Congress will keep all these aspects in mind," he said.
