Earlier, in a video released by the BJP MP, she said that her health has deteriorated, adding that she lost vision from one eye.

She further said that she had 'swelling and pus from the retina to the brain' and she faces eyesight issues.

She is undergoing treatment at Delhi's AIIMS over a prolonged period of time for treatment of cancer and eye ailments.

Earlier in May, several missing posters of Sadhvi Pragya surfaced in various parts of the state as the BJP MP was missing even as the city was reeling under the COVID-19 crisis.

Earlier on June 21, she had participated in the International Yoga Day celebrations held at the BJP office.
Congress MLA from Bhopal South West constituency and former minister PC Sharma had backed the posters stating people had the right to know about Thakur’s whereabouts in these distressing times.

Thakur even launched a mobile hospital service in May run by Sahkar Bharti in the city’s Bairagarh Chichli area on a video call and the outfit’s functionary Umakant Dixit claimed the former was not missing but in a hospital in Delhi as she was not feeling well.

She was in touch with workers on phone and was helping migrants, students and the needy amid the lockdown for the coronavirus outbreak, Dixit said.

State BJP spokesperson Rahul Kothari had said, "Severals works like distribution of food, groceries etc were underway across Thakur’s constituency." (With inputs from agencies)
