New Delhi: Reflecting the negligence in administration, a private bank has sealed an under construction house along with over 50 people, who were allegedly involved in the construction work inside the property, in Sector 25 of Rohini area in New Delhi on Thursday.
Without providing any prior notice to the house owner, a team of bank employees, bouncers and policemen sealed the house from outside, locking more than 50 people including women and children inside it.
People claimed that the police administration did not showed up for their rescue even after they called police for help. People said that they were held captive for many hours.
The owner of the property stated that the bank employees locked and sealed them from outside at around 10 am.
The owner alleged that someone must have taken a false loan over his property without his consent.
Unable to get any help from police, the people contacted media for attention. After the intervention of media, police administration came into action and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) directed a team of officials to rescue the people trapped inside the house with the help of fire brigade.
After getting released the people protested against the police administration for their negligence. They showed their anger by raising slogans against the police team.
The people have demanded strict action against the concerned bank as well as dull behaviour of the police.
