Pune: The large-scale manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines in the country was the fulfilment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of ''Atmanirbhar Bharat'', Union minister Prakash Javadekar said here on Saturday.
He said India had become a global leader in vaccine manufacturing and had successfully converted the challenge of the COVID-19 outbreak into an opportunity.
The country has exported Covishield, manufactured by Serum Institute of India, and Bharat Biotech's Covaxin vaccines to some countries, the minister informed.
