Assam: An ISI agent was arrested in Cachar district of Assam named Alam Hussain Mazumdar on Thursday.
He was arrested during an investigation carried out by 37 Assam Rifles and Silchar police.
Police have recovered several documents such as a birth certificate of 1996, voter id, land document, Bank passbook from him.
He was trained in Myanmar as well as Bangladesh, Alam told police in interrogation.
A case has been registered against him under IPC section 18 of the Foreigner Act.
Further questioning will be done with him on Saturday.
