New Delhi: Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will be cremated on Sunday afternoon at the Nigambodh Ghat on the banks of Yamuna river coast in New Delhi.
Mortal remains of former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was brought to his residence from All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Saturday.
Jaitley (66), who died in AIIMS at 12.07pm on Saturday, was undergoing treatment at the hospital for a few weeks.
On Sunday morning, his body will be taken to the BJP headquarters where leaders across the political spectrum are expected to pay their last respects. Media reports noted the body of Arun Jaitley would be kept at the BJP headquarters from 11am to 2pm on Sunday.
From BJP headquarters, it will be taken to the Nigambodh Ghat for the last rites.
