New Delhi: A cab driver has been arrested on Friday for allegedly threatening and eve-teasing a female advocate practitioner working with the Delhi High Court.
The advocate hailing from Gurugram has booked a cab from her home to the high court. She alleged that on the way, the cab driver started eve-teasing her and when she objected to this, the driver started threatening. After which she dialed PCR number of the nearby Tilak Nagar Police Station.
Based on the complaint, the Tilak Nagar police registered a case under section 506 and 509 of IPC and arrested the driver, Satish Sharma.
The 38-year-old accused driver is a resident of Nilothi.
