New Delhi: After a brief lull, students from Delhi University and students of Jamia Milia Islamia University have come to the street of the national capital to continue their protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) on Tuesday.
The agitated students have seen shouting anti-CAA and anti-NRC slogan on the streets of Delhi.
"We want the government to roll back CAA," said an agitator while talking to ETV Bharat.
The protesters also displayed anti-government placards while leading the protest march at Jantar Mantar.

"Government can't impose anything on us at their whims...We have been fighting against communal Citizenship Amendment Act and we will keep continuing our fight against the Act until and unless the Government does not withdraw it," said another agitator.
Tuesday's protest at Jantar Mantar seems to be spontaneous as people from all age groups were seen joining the agitators in the anti-CAA protest.
"I am neither from any political party nor affiliated to any party...I am a student of Delhi University and I have come here to join in the protest to raise my voice against anti-people move initiated by the government," said another agitator.
The CrPC Section 144 had been imposed again in few places in Delhi including the Red Fort and its adjacent areas.
Officials said that areas like Lahori Gate, Kashmiri Gate and areas like Kotwali have also been brought under Section 144.
Meanwhile, metro rails services are undisturbed with tight security arrangements by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel.
