New Delhi: "There is no comparison between Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan. Modi belongs to politics whereas Bachchan is in the film industry. Modi rose as Amitabh emerged in the 70s," said former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.
In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Singh went on to explain the influence of Modi. "In the era when Jayprakash Narayan called for a revolution, the same time youth was filled with anger and enthusiasm. People got their hero then. Likewise is the case of Modi. Today's youth finds their hero in him."
Singh said politics and movies are run by people. They choose their hero. They have that power. People are with Modi today.
"All the opposition is afraid of Modi. That's why they are coming together against him. They also tried making a movie 'Chowkidar Chor Hai' but eventually, it failed. After the exit polls came out it was said that a movie will be made named 'EVM Bewafa hai'. It will flop too," Singh mocked at opposition.
