Ajit Doval briefs CCS meet about present Indo-Pak situation

PM Modi chairs National Security Council meet. NSA Ajit Doval briefs over the present situation amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.

New Delhi: Amid brewing tensions between India and Pakistan, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval briefedthe National Security Council meet on Sunday about the present situation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS).

The CCS meet started around 8:30 pm and went on for more than one hour.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj briefed the Prime Minister about the outcome of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation summit where she delivered the keynote address in the plenary session.

Union Minister for Home Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj were among others present at the meeting.
